is an organization serving the educational needs of cardiologists and sonographers in Chicago and the surrounding regions.
The Society conducts monthly meetings for its members, with presentations on various interesting topics of echocardiology.

Welcome to the Chicago Society of Echocardiography!
The Chicago Echo Society has a yearly schedule of informative monthly meetings at many of the major medical institutions in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Meetings begin with dinner at 6:30 p.m., followed by a brief lecture on a topic of interest and then interesting case presentations. Those from outside the hosting institution are encouraged to bring their unusual echo cases so all can benefit. Presentations often stimulate an active discussion regarding the underlying pathology and clinical management.
If you are a sonographer or physician who desires to expand your knowledge base in echocardiography, or take a certification exam, consider joining our Society.
Our services now include an online learning center with image library. The library has a host of interesting cases, clinical discussions and questions. Cases similar to those online have appeared on past certification or board examinations. CEU credits are available for sonographer members who utilize the online learning center. Category II AMA CME credits can also be awarded to physician members who use the online image library.
CSE members receive 1.0 CEU or CME credit per meeting toward continuing educational requirement. By attending meetings and using the online image library members are able to obtain much of their continuing educational requirement in the field of echocardiography.
